The British Shooting Show, UK’s largest retail shooting show, was held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC),  Birmingham from February 23 to 25, 2024.

ThermTec participated in this show at Hall 5, Booth No. E5 to showcase the forefront advancements within the hunting & outdoor industry. It displayed the most representative products and the fascinating innovations at the show, expecting to open up a new future of thermal imaging developments for all the hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

Interview with ThermTec Brand Ambassador Royston in UK

Royston, who was a gamekeeper on the farm for the past 35 years, has been using thermal imaging products for more than 10 years. He becomes the brand ambassador of ThermTec in UK as being deeply impressed by it’s supreme image quality, battery life, and the laser rangefinder when testing Ares660L thermal scope.

He recommended ThermTec’s newly released product - Hunt series thermal clip-on during the interview, for its lightweight, and quick and easy fitment onto day scopes. He praised ThermTec as the brand who carefully listens to customers’ voice and improves the products as per the feedback from customers.

Cyclops Pro & Cyclops D Thermal Monocular: the New Level of Thermal Precision

The Cyclops Pro series is an upgrade and a new addition to the Cyclops series line, bringing the cutting-edge thermal imaging technology and offering the option of technical improvement to the hunters. Combined with a 12µm uncooled infrared detector, fast-aperture F50/1.0 germanium lens and 1024x768 OLED high-definition display, it is capable of capturing the smallest detail even when the target and background are almost at the same temperature.

The Cyclops D series handheld monocular applies the latest technology of dual-field of view into thermal optics. It is designed to provide the user with the option to toggle between a wider field of view for situational awareness and a narrower field of view for target identification, bringing a good experience from detection to identification.

Ares & Vidar Series Thermal Sight: the Highest Shooting Accuracy

The Ares & Ares LRF series thermal tube scope is designed with classic 30mm ring, higher base magnification and LRF for longer shot placements. Hunters love this riflescope for its image quality, built-in laser rangefinder and long battery life.

The Vidar series thermal compact scope adds a ballistic calculation tool for accurate long-range shooting with a built-in precision laser rangefinder, dual-field of view design, and NETD≤25mK thermal sensitivity.
